§1 Contact
Write to support@idection.com. Please include the app version (Home › System › About), your phone model, and what you were doing when the problem happened. We usually answer within a few days.
§2 Getting started
On iPhone: put your music in Files › On My iPhone › IDection Audio, the app's own folder — with the Files app, or from a Mac or PC with the iPhone connected (Finder or Apple Devices, under Files). It then appears in the Audio tab. To play from your network or your cloud, add a source under Sources › New connection.
On Android: open Media › Local folder and choose the folder where your music is, or add a network or cloud source under Sources.
§3 Frequent questions
My TV, speaker or Chromecast does not appear
The phone and the device must be on the same local network. On iPhone, also check Settings › Privacy & Security › Local Network › IDection Audio is on. Some TVs show a question to accept the stream the first time: accept it on the TV.
The progress bar does not move while a receiver is playing
Some receivers play without reporting their position. After a few seconds the app keeps the time with its own clock, so the music and the bar go on normally.
Using a USB DAC
Connect the DAC with a USB cable or adapter suited to your phone. On iPhone, each track reaches the DAC at its original sample rate; DSD can travel over DoP if your DAC understands it (Plus). iOS does not allow exclusive access to the DAC, so system sounds may mix in: turn off keyboard clicks and lock sounds for critical listening. If the DAC is not detected, try another cable first.
Restoring Plus
Plus is a one-time purchase. On a new phone, open the Plus screen and tap Restore purchase, signed in with the same Apple ID (iPhone) or Google account (Android) you bought it with.
Reporting a problem
Open Home › System › Diagnostics and tap Share to send us the diagnostics log by email. It never leaves your phone unless you share it.
§4 Privacy
IDection Audio has no servers and no user accounts. Read the privacy policy.
ES Soporte en español
Contacto
Mi TV, parlante o Chromecast no aparece
